Person Specification
Essential Requirements
• Degree in Early/Primary Education
• PGCE or PGCEi
• be a fluent English speaker
• Two years’ teaching experience in Early Years
• have up to date knowledge and experience ofteaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage and in particular experience of a play based approach to learning
• able to work closely as part of a team whilst also contributing to the life of the school as a whole

Desirable
• have experience working in a bilingual kindergarten with a co-teaching model
• 5 years’ experience of leading a class across Foundation Stage
• evidence of further professional development

Responsibilities
• work as part of a dedicated team with shared responsibility for a cohortof up to 20 children
• support children to develop the Englishlanguageas well as all areas of EYFS
• plan and lead specialist activities such as cooking and Forest School
• provide excellent pastoral care for students during and outside of class time
• uphold the values and ethos of the school at all times through a mindful attitude and caring nature

Terms of Employment
