School Overview: This is a growing International Bilingual Preschool for children aged 2-6yrs in the heart of the International Community in Shanghai. The school is a member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the curriculum is based on the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) criteria, tailored to target international families in China or Chinese families with an international outlook. The school enjoys a very low student to teacher ratio (6:1), and a curriculum that values exploration and creativity. Learning is designed to capture children's imaginations and foster creativity within a positive environment that creates the conditions to enable them to flourish, develop and achieve, in addition to helping create confident, well balanced children. They stress the need to develop the children's academics, character, health and their emotional wellbeing. . The philosophy is based on the idea that children should love coming to school where they can socialise, inquire, play and succeed. The schools aim is to encourage children to have a positive impact on the world, leaving with strong social, emotional, bilingual and academic foundations to confidently enter Primary School and beyond.

Requirements:
- Fully qualified with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience within Early Years or KS1.
- Previous experience in an international school or multicultural school community is desirable.
- An inquiry based approach is preferred with experience in Project-Based teaching, IB curriculum or Reggio Emilia curriculum highly desirable.
- Believe in a whole child approach to learning
- Energetic, enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated teachers who love inspiring young minds to explore, create, and become lifelong learners.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and being comfortable in a working environment with culture diversity. Classes usually comprise of a western teacher, a senior Chinese teacher and junior assistants
