Job Description

Job Summary

The incumbents prime responsibility is to ensure that Eaton meets the agreed budget targets for sales growth and cost in the defined region whilst applying Eaton standard work practices.  Develops and executes a strategic direction for cluster to the EMEA business strategic direction and support Eaton’s growth. To esure a good understaning of industry and products as well as the ability to direct the overall sales efforts to continous growth. To act as the senior Eaton representative in the area providing inspirational leadership to employees internally and acting as an ambassador for Eaton externally.

Job Responsibilities

Service Sales Strategy

  • Contributes to the  Service Strategic Plan to ensure growth and sustained profitability in line with Eaton's overall strategic goals - particularly focused on EMEA expectations
  • Ensures continuous and effective key account management in conjunction with the Service organization
  • Analyzes market data, trends, customer needs in order to align with the regional service sales strategy
  • Maintains and builds relations with important internal and external stakeholders - customers, business units, local sales organization
  • Manages sales plans by developing and assigning individual or team targets, to achieve the business goals
  • Analysis, reporting evaluation and development of KPI’s aligned to the Profit Plan and Strategic Plan for short, mid and long-term adjustments.
  • Manages the Profit & Loss for Service business in the cluster.

Business Development

  • Negotiates and influence at executive and management level resulting in contracts and agreements.
  • Approves commercial agreements in line with organizational procedures.
  • Collaborates with other sales leaders within the organization to enable business opportunities
  • Initiates, develops and implements sales orientated customer campaigns and other marketing activities to support the Service business growth
  • Focus on developing and winning new customers across our businesses.
  • Enables internal collaborations resulting in synergy sales and new business.

Leadership

  • Provides operational leadership to the service organization
  • Acts as a role model in line with Eaton ethical standards of conduct and Eaton leadership value and attributes.
  • Builds Organizational Capability by developing competencies as well as identifying talent gaps.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors’ degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering or Business

  • Strong experience in business development for the services of at least 5-7 years

  • Knowledgeable of (field) engineering services and electrical/mechanical industry

  • Experienced Manager of People, with track record of managing multiple teams.

  • Ability to influence decision making of key stakeholders.

  • Intercultural awareness.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated executive presence – board room quality – able to represent Eaton to senior managers externally and internally.

  • Strong Time Management and delegation skills

  • Proven leadership competencies
