PRIMARY FUNCTION: Eaton has an immediate opening for a 12-month Digital Marketing Intern role at our Burlington, Ontario location. The Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting digital and traditional marketing initiatives and campaigns, aligned with Eaton’s growth strategy and Business-to-Business (B2B) customer journey. This includes, supporting the marketing communications team with advancing the Eaton Canada website with up-to-date product information and supporting the execution of marketing campaigns. The Digital Marketing Intern understands the importance of the B2B buyer journey and draw on the perspectives and needs of the customer, creating informative content that drives conversation, leads and sales. The role will require The Digital Marketing Intern to collaborate with product managers, sales teams, content writers, other Eaton marketing divisions, web designers and agencies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Partner with product managers and sales teams to build and optimize content on Eaton.com. Help test and remediate issues with the web support team. Analyze web and other sources of campaign data to provide insights for improvement. Support activities within an integrated marketing campaign from design to execution. Coordinate with external agencies and vendors on creative content creation (digital/print). Provide creative input for signage, mock-ups, and product demos for product lines. Support marketing events (webinars, distributor events, tradeshows). Seek, analyze, and share feedback on other industry marketing material and digital content. Manage the creative asset library. Support the execution of the marketing communications strategy for Eaton Canada. Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Currently enrolled full-time pursuing a college diploma or university degree in Marketing, Business or Communications. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future. No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 80km of Burlington, ON to be considered. PREFERRED: User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) knowledge. Experience in data analytics. POSITION CRITERIA: Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Effective time management and project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively with cross functional teams ranging from IT, field sales, marketing, product line management, and senior leadership. Highly motivated, self-starting, enthusiastic, results oriented team player. Strong Microsoft Office skills; PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
