Eaton's Electrical Engineering Systems & Services Division is looking for a Field Services Intern/Co-op. This position is located at either our Delta or Kamloops, BC office.
Position Overview:
Working with the Electrical Engineering Service & Systems group to provide onsite engineering and technical assistance in areas of electrical equipment maintenance, new equipment commissioning, custom electrical equipment modification, wiring, controls, drives and breakers.
In this function you will:
- Assist Field Service personnel in a wide variety of electrical work.
- Assist in creating detailed and quality reports to customers covering the scope of work performed.
- Manage paperwork and office procedures as required.
- Perform all work at a high-quality level.
- Be willing and available to work evenings and weekends as required by our customers.
- Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values, as well as Safety and Environmental standards.

Qualifications
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Technology Program or Engineering Degree Program.
- Must live within 80 km of either the Kamloops, BC or Delta, BC location.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or co-op experience.
- Previous Manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Understanding of the company’s and competitors’ electrical distribution and mechanical products.
Position Criteria:
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Good attitude and work ethic.
- Demonstrated customer service ability.
