Eaton Industries (Canada) Company located in Mississauga, ON has an opening for a 12-month Engineering internship opportunity within our Project Sales Department. Our Eaton – Mississauga, ON sales office is responsible for sales, service and support of Eaton product including Electrical Distribution, Automation & Control, Power Distribution and Circuit Protection in the Ontario Sales region. The successful candidate will assist the Sales office with any / all inside sales functions including, but not limited to, quotations, technical / product support, data entry & analysis, order entry, and order management. While the Projects team is primarily focused on quoting large, high-complexity, Ontario-based opportunities, this team also quotes select Major projects across Canada. Primary Responsibilities: Assist with inside sales – quotations, data entry & analysis, order entry, and sales support. Assist our quotation department with project / RFQ single line and specification review. Assist our quotation department with assembling quote packages and RFQ file management. Supply our outside sales team with inside sales support, such as fielding technical product inquiries, order entry, and order expedites. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical or Power Systems Engineering Degree or Diploma Co-op program, with 1 year of study remaining before graduation. Valid driver’s license required. Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. This position does not offer relocation. The candidate must reside within 80 km of the site. Preferred Qualifications: 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products. Previous sales or customer service experience is considered an asset. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel. Passion for innovation & continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
