Position Overview: The Engineering and Technology Development Program- Power Electronics track offers program participants the ability to work on challenging assignments with Eaton’s Electrical, Industrial and Corporate sectors. This rotational program will provide exposure to multiple power electronics roles in the U.S. Power Electronics Hardware Design Engineers will perform design, modeling, simulation, implementation, and validation of power electronics circuits for power conversion products like UPS, Drives, or Energy storage. Power Electronic Controls Engineers will perform modeling, simulation, implementation, and validation of control algorithms for motor drives or power conversion products. Program participants will also gain cross-functional exposure and develop critical leadership skills for the future. Qualifications Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements): Currently possesses, or will have obtained a Masters or PhD degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with a graduation date no later than June 2022. Minimum of one internship or co-op experience completed at the time of this application. Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please do not round). Geographical flexibility to relocate within the United States for the duration of the Development Program. Preferred Qualifications: Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community. 2 or more relevant Internships or Co-op experiences. Position Criteria: Ability to relocate to one these locations: Raleigh, NC, Menomonee Falls, WI, Pittsburgh, PA, Galesburg, MI, Southfield, MI, and some possible others. As a contractor with the Federal government, Eaton is subject to the Executive Order mandating COVID-19 vaccination. Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $125,000/year. This salary may be subject to adjustment based on location and cost of living adjustment.
