Who Are We Looking for?
We have openings for university instructors for our China-USA Joint education program. We currently offer an undergraduate degree in Economics in cooperation with Utah State University. You will have at least a master’s degree in economics, business or English with several years of teaching experience.

We are also looking for English Instructors to help undergraduate and graduate students develop their communicative skills in English: including speaking and listening. You should have an Master’s degree, a teaching certificate (CELTA/TESL/TEFL) and at least two years of teaching experience.

Who Are We?
The Northwest University for Nationalities (NWUN) is a leading university in the city of Lanzhou. NWUN’s student body is made up of 26,000 young people from every one of China’s 56 ethnic groups including the Tibetan, Uyghur, Hui, Mongol people and come from all over China. Many of these students are the first generation within their communities to have access to tertiary education and much of their study and research helps identify and preserve some of the distinctive characteristics of their rich cultural heritage. Get a map of China and you’ll find the city of Lanzhou in the geographical centre of the country along the old Silk Road. Our city is famous for Lanzhou la mian / beef noodles, it’s long history and it’s diverse culture.
