Job Description

As the Education Initiatives Strategy and Program Manager, you will be reporting to Global Director for Public Sector and Education Sales and will be responsible for building and implementing education initiative strategies, enabling field teams and partners around the world with information that enable the implementation of Intel's strategic educational initiatives such as Intel's Skills for Innovation into classrooms around the world.

You will be working with cross-functional teams internally and externally to assist in building out messaging, modify content, creating awareness and launch campaigns, and program managing worldwide implementations.

This candidate will be a creative thinker, experienced educator, and a dynamic presenter as they scale Intel's teaching and learning programs throughout the globe.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Work closely with rest of education team on developing, improving and growing Intel's strategic education initiatives
  • Work closely with content providers and facilitate timely unit product updates and requested localizations.
  • Ensure the accompanying professional development for the programs is authentic, credible and relative for educators
  • Present to large and small audiences about the value of Intel's strategic programs.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the initiative's content and recommend modifications based on needs of countries or to encourage faster and easier adoptions of the initiative.
  • Develop strategies to scale project initiatives in various countries worldwide
  • Allocate budgets each quarter to the program's development and maintenance, partner activities and marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with OEMs, resellers and key ecosystem partners to identify engagement opportunities.
  • Assist in closing strategic deals / manage a pipeline of deals influenced by strategic programs
  • Presenting and negotiating with Ministries of Education around the world.
  • Support Intel Account Executives (AEs) with external customer presentations.
  • Create or customize training content to Intel sales reps of all tiers and distributor partner sales teams, via events, workshops or one-off meetings.
  • Create a roadmap of additions and modifications to strategic programs.
  • Be the trusted advisor to internal and external customers on enablement, roadmap, letters of support, trial periods, engagement follow up and other implementation requirements.
  • Present proposals and current status report outs to management

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong background in K12 pedagogy, adult learning theories and principles, and instructional design
  • Unwavering passion for teaching and learning and implementing educational initiatives that showcase the benefits utilizing highly capable devices for innovation focused instruction
  • Customer obsessed orientation with the ability to comprehend (internal/external) customer feedback, assess implications for Intel, and drive for optimal solutions.
  • Solid understanding of K12 industry and trends, professional learning best practices, and K12 curriculum implementations.
  • Organization, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially willingness to gather input from subject matter experts and translate to clear succinct next steps
  • Understanding of IT technologies (PC's, notebooks, etc.) used as part of teaching and learning
  • Sound business acumen, analytical, and leadership skills to facilitate discussions including Leadership on the status of the program.
  • The ability to reach across org boundaries, move progress in taskforces, recognize diverse world views and yet, drive alignment towards common goals.
  • Proven track record in producing clear, persuasive, and concise presentations and analysis.
  • Self-motivation, proactiveness, discipline.
  • Presentation skills.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field of study

- 4+ years of prior experience implementing district wide instructional initiatives

- 4+ years of implementing professional learning to K12 districts

-2+ years of experience in both pedagogy and andragogy

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in Education or related field of study

- 7+ years of classroom instructional experience

- 7+ years of experience in both pedagogy and andragogy

- 4+ years of experience in curriculum and instructional design

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$107,450.00-$161,050.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
