Job Summary

New products development, Products safety compliance, Products system testing, Parts certification, NCR parts handling, Parts localization.

Responsibilities

• In charge of new product development (NPI): Design electric systems. Draw electric diagrams and harnesses drawings, release design documents (diagrams, drawings, BOM, test procedures) through ECR and ECO process;
• Work with oversea PD team to conduct products EMC testing/CSA audit to make sure products meet safety requirements
• Conduct product system testing to verify the design meet spec, generate testing report and review with oversea PD team.
• Trouble shooting for the issues occurred during product testing and calibration. Defects parts handling by follow NCR process and identify root cause and corrective actions follow up with vendor for problems prevention.
• Provide technical support on electrical parts manufacturing, lead parts certification by following FA/PPAP process.
• Involve in product launch stage in parts localization, prototype building, process set up, knowledge transfer etc. work with oversea PD team to resolve DFM issues to improve the design robustness.

Requirements

Education & Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree or high majored in Electrical Engineering or related.
• To be familiar with Electrical design software, such as Solid works or Auto CAD, Protel.
• Be familiar with PLC program and electric control, well know the control system of PC interface.
• Familiar with electronic components, such as PCBA, cable harness, sensor and motors.
• Familiar with high mix industry equipment calibration and safety certification.

Experience

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical design or manufacturing.

2. To be able to find problems and have strong capability in root cause analysis.

3. Be knowledgeable and practical in lean manufacturing and related tools.

4. Having project management/6 Sigma would be a plus.

5. Be able to write good reports and do some presentation.

Language

Good at spoken and written English communication skill.
