Senior level electrical engineering position in product development team responsible for creating high value Surge/Mobile power/Switching Power Supply/UPS Product for customers worldwide. Lead the complex design and analysis of new circuits and systems. Responsible for overall product electrical system design integrity. Select components to implement design. Plan and support pcb assembly design, sub-system and system level testing, release to manufacturing and quality volume objectives of product development process. Manage small team of engineers and technicians-career development direction, work load leveling, technical mentoring.

• Analyze customer, regulatory, manufacturing requirements to design, analyze, prototype, test and document new analog and digital circuits necessary to develop product.


• Select, design, specify, qualify and document components necessary to implement product design.


• Analyze new designs using SPICE or other tools necessary to perform worse case analysis and FMEA.


• Plan and perform sub-system and system design verification testing.


• As part of product development team to release product to manufacturing and meet quality volume goals. Electrical function management.


• Design and develop manufacturing test process as part of new product development activities. Train technical support staff.

EDUCATION – MINIMUN REQUIRED LEVEL:

• MSEE or equivalent degree or training; management training preferred

EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED:

• 5 year experience in the design of power electronics and analog circuits. 2 yrs staff management experience.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1 – REQUIRED:

• SPICE tool proficiency. PC software proficiency (MathCAD, Excel, Word).

• Well know the relevant power electric knowledge of UPS and SPS

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 2 – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
