Job Purpose

TheElectrical Engineer is responsible for all deliverables and tasks at stage ofelectrical proposal, basic design and detail design in project.

Main Accountabilities

Management:

• He/sheensure that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes andstandards
• He/sheensures that REX are respected and taken into account in drawing productions.
• He/sheensures that standard document and drawing are respected and taken into accountin productions.
• He/sheensures that discipline software and engineering tools are respected and takeninto account in productions.

• He/shestudies tender requirement (Employer’s Requirement)
• He/shereturns feedback to Engineering Manager (EM) as input of contract analysis
• He/sheprepares the proposal document (i.e. electrical equipment list, electricallayout, technical report, calculations) as per the proposal information noteand tender.
• He/sheprepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) of cable and cable tray when required.
• He/sheanalyze the technical offer from equipment supplier.
• He/sheprepare the TCT (Technical Comparison Table) as require
• He/sheparticipate to the negotiation meeting with The Design Institute / Client whennecessary.

On project execution:

• He/shestudies the contract requirement
• He/shereturns feedback to Engineering Manager (EM) as input of contract analysis
• He/sheparticipate the liaison meeting with The Design Institute / Client whennecessary.
• He/shecoordinate communication and organize work sessions between the differentstakeholders concerned by the project when authorized by his/her superiors.
• He/sheconducting expert and auditing assignments for sites in service or projects inprocess.
• He/sheresponse application of control system in Hazardous Area
• He/sheresponsible for the coordination of all electrical drawings and check, addreservation for electric equipment, comment and sign the civil work drawing,assembly drawing issued by I&P Engineer.
• He/sherespects and takes into account key requirement in the related check list
• He/shesupport I&P engineer on cable tray design, electrical room layout design,etc.
• He/shecheck, comment and sign RFQ (Request for Quotation)/ RFP (Ready for Purchase)related to electrical equipment issued by Mechanical Engineer, and recordelectrical data in load list for electrical design.
• He/sheevaluate the technical offer of electrical equipment transferred frompurchasing department. Prepare the TCT (Technical Comparison Table) as require.
• He/sheresponse the Electrical engineering production on assigned project and tasks,include but not limit design reports, calculation notes, General Single LineDiagram, electrical panel Single Line Diagram, electrical panel controldiagram, electrical room layout, cable list, cable connection drawing etc.
• He/sheprepare the necessary input document of electrical equipment to subcontractor/supplierto design the electrical drawing.
• He/shereview and approve the electrical drawing from panel supplier or subcontractor.
• He/shesupport and coordinate the electrical equipment Factory Acceptable Test.
• He/sheprepare the electrical parameter setting list to site electrical engineer.
• He/sheprepare the circuit breaker setting report.
• He/sheanswer of site queries.
• He/sheKeep active team work sprit within project team and discipline.

Transversal role:

• He/shestudy and identify the electrical risks and design the required safetyequipment according to the specifications.
• He/sheimplement the health and safety objectives.
• He/sheimplement company health and safety rules and regulations.
• He/shecontribute in company or department transversal activities such as REX, Omega,Engineering tools, etc.
• Mobility

Requirements:

1. University graduate in electricalfield (Bachelor).

2. Qualified background in LV electricalsystem design with a minimum of 5 years of working experience.

3. Excellent background and experienceon LV electrical system, has good experience on calculation for load flowcalculation.

4. Be familiar with electrical designwith EPLAN and AUTOCAD.

5. Be familiar with preparing proposaldocument

6. Be familiar with GB/IEC standard.

7. Have experience on fabrication andinstallation of electrical equipment

8. Good team work spirit and highworking efficiency is mandatory.

9. Good English skill, fluent inreading, speaking and writing.
