As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for working effectively and individually as a design owner for new project execution, in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager I, you will support the testing of the design to ensure that the running performance meets the specification.

Your responsibilities

• Working effectively and individually as a design owner for new project execution
• Supporting the testing of the design to ensure that the running performance meets the specification, electrical hardware Design to the specific engineering requirements, PLC programming offline & online (Siemens S7 & TIA), commissioning and installation on-site
• Creating project related manual including operation, maintenance, spare parts list etc
• Training of customer, obtaining and transferring information or data relevant for the projects
• Supporting proposals, budget controlling to the related departments
• Monitoring related sub-supplier

Your background

• Sound Knowledge in bus systems (profibus, profinet, device net, TCP/IP), basic knowledge in pneumatic, conveyor, gripper, robot application
• Sound knowledge in automation (PLC, RFID, vision systems), Strong PLC programming of SIEMENS product, E-Plan, ABB Robot Rapid (preferred)
• Strong electrical design knowledge of electrical parts selection, motor selection & calculate, good at Microsoft office programs including Excel, Work and Power point
• A Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Engineering, Industry Automation, Electrical, Programming or relevant with working experience in foreign companies
• Understanding of technical descriptions, specifications, cycle time diagram, Non-standard design and development of the new equipment’s
• Fluency in English both reading & writing
• Must be a team player, relationship, credibility and trust builder, display integrity, and open attitude, can work under pressure and Must be willing to travel
