ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Exceptional electrical design proficiency on circuit design, analysis and testing of topologies including electrical components such as passive and active, aligned on electrical testing standards and principles. Proven track record and strong background of solving critical electrical problems and providing technical solutions experience on SPS, multi-switching frequency products, UPS, and the like. Work with design function team such as Mechanical, Component, Lay-out, Design quality, Software/Firmware and Safety Engineering. Initiates BOM (bill of material) generation, change request and change control processes including correcting through customer ECR and deviation. Initiate, participate and support value analysis value engineering projects (VAVE) and design quality improvements. Perform in-depth failure analysis and simulations concerning design evaluation and customer customization requests. Knowledge on IEC, UL, REACH, RoHS, Prop65 and other applicable regulations and its impact on product and technology. Knowledgeable on processes such as DFMEA, DFM, DOE and the like. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree on Electrical/Electronic Engineering (ECE/EE). Has work experience at least 5 years on Strategic/Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer. Good understanding of Power Electronics and proficient on design topologies. Excellent verbal communication skills and coordination. Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving skills and diagnostics.
