Eaton's site in Espoo is a Center of Excellence for 3 phase UPS design for the EMEA -region. We have a 30 person strong R&D organization on site which collaborates globally with different stakeholders in the pursuit of new product development.
We are looking for a summer intern to join our Electrical Engineering team to help maintain and create new features and functions for the next generation of Eaton UPS devices. As an electrical engineering trainee you will be involved in the design, testing and documentation of UPS and energy storage applications.
Qualifications
What we are looking for in an Electrical trainee:
- You are soon finishing your degree in Electrical Engineering
- You understand electrical measurements and have experience of using measuring equipment
- You are proficient in English
- You have the safety awareness required to work in a laboratory with hazardous voltages
- You have hands-on working skills
The following would be an advantage:
- Expertise in power electronics
- Experience with electrical circuit simulation tools (e.g. PSIM, PLECS)
- Knowledge of embedded systems
