About the role We are looking for a PreSales Solution Consultant to join the Siemens Digital Industry Software technical team and provide support to prospects and our customers across the EMEA region. In this role you will provide technical presales support for Siemens Capital integrated electrical system development product line and directly contribute to the success of a team of product specialists and account managers by increasing the deployment of Capital software. You will help to capture our customers’ needs and translate them into a compelling proposition and provide product demonstrations to show the value of our powerful solutions for the automotive & aerospace markets. We are flexible as to where this position can be based, ideally, in either Poland, Germany, France, Hungary, Czech or the UK. It is a remote / home based with travel to customer sites. Area of responsibility The role will require the delivery of expertise in the application(s) of the Capital portfolio, in the form of PreSales support to customers throughout the EMEA region. The position calls for the following: Become a Consultant Engineer specializing in Electrical and Harness Design Understand and contribute to the strategy of the Capital solution in different markets such as automotive, aerospace & industrial applications Assist clients in the evaluation process, through to deployment and use of Capital for the design of electrical systems, Help Sales teams determine sales strategies by matching our software solutions to the customer's needs through your analysis. Perform demonstrations of the solution and provide technical support to our customers, through training and technical problem solving. Your qualifications Degree/or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field. You must have excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as an ability to build relationships with our customers. Presales experience is not essential, if you are from industry (e.g. Electrical Engineer, Harness Engineer), and you are a self-starter / sales oriented then please apply. You will have an ability to communicate with different levels, e.g. project and department leaders as well as to executives / C-Level. An ability to deliver compelling, well-structured, value-based demonstrations Experience with Electrical Design software, such as Capital, VeSys, Saber ES Designer, Zuken E3.series, Vector PREEvision. Experience with Mechanical CAD products (preferably Siemens NX, CATIA V5, SolidEdge or Solidworks) but not essential Experience of working within any of these sectors an advantage: Aerospace and Defence, Automotive and Transportation.
