Eaton’s CDP & PDO division is currently seeking a Product Engineer-Electrical to join our team. This position is based at our Juarez facility. The Product Engineer-Electrical is responsible for Implement and maintain MCB (Miniature Circuit Breakers) product engineering and design specifications through new processes and engineering changes. At the same time supporting continuous improvement projects. Some activities related with the position will be: Implement and maintain engineering and design specifications for new and existing product development as a result of engineering changes, savings projects, quality improvements, etc. using the design process. Follow and implement standards such as UL (Underwriters Laboratories), CSA (Canada Standards Association) and NEC (National Electrical Code) within test laboratories. Serve as a contact with local UL representative and follow the requirements for testing "X", "Y" and "Z" programs stipulated in the UL 489 file Create and maintain SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for all activities within the test lab using different documentation methods. Ensure to promote and follow strict safety measures on both laboratory equipment and activities assigned to laboratory technicians to comply with and conduct engineering and UL tests. Provide electrical and technical support to other departments of production control, customer service, technical resource center, production, quality, manufacturing, accounting, materials. Participate in the Quality System for corrective and preventive actions. Contribute to meeting the goals and objectives of the environmental control system, know the policy and comply with the methods and procedures applicable to this function. #LI- DS1 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: English 80% Electrical/Electromechanical or Equivalent Engineering Design Programs Project Management MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications: Technical, Mechanical and Electrical Drawing. CREO, AutoCAD, Inventor BOM (Bill of Materials), Knowledge of Structure (AS-400 / MAPICS).
