Eaton’s CPDI Division is currently seeking an Electrical Test Technician I to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The starting pay for this role is $20/hr. In this role: You will exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. You will ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton’s quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process and perform quality checks as instructed. You will read electronic schematics to ensure products meet defined specifications You will report any Non-conformance items by utilizing our Quality Management Guidelines You will recommend modifications and improvements to enhance the products for quality, reliability, manufacturability and cost effectiveness You will communicate with Production Associates, Quality Engineering Technician, Manufacturing Engineers and Test Engineers to resolve daily production and warranty issues You will check maintain equipment to ensure compliance with ISO 9000:2000 standards You will identify and implement corrective actions for the repair, replacement and calibration of laboratory tools and manufacturing equipment You will use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area #LI-LD1 Qualifications Basic (Required) Qualifications: Must have an Associate’s Degree in electronics/technology from an accredited school A minimum of one year of work experience in electronics industry Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50 mile radius) of Raleigh,NC will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
