JOB TITLE: Electronics & Diagnostic Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION: Planning, supervising and evaluating tests and diagnoses, as well as testing and implementing test software for parametrization of vehicle control units. Planning and supervising the complete range of tests and diagnosis software integrated into ongoing series production. Evaluation and failure analysis of the Test results of electronic components in the vehicle. Developing and implementing appropriate solutions in cooperation with departments involved. Conducting tests of new testing software for parametrization of vehicle control units. Software programming and parametrization of test sequences on different Electronic Data Processing levels. Implementing and ensuring a consistent flash process from serial production to the vehicle documentation. Implementing new electronic diagnosis issues on the IS Tester (standard Daimler test hardware) due to product change management process. Examining and evaluating modifications in the production process considering release data and launch date as well as variety of models and codes. Exchanging data and knowledge with the design department and production line.
