Hiring Immediately! Hourly rate: $24/hour Eaton is currently seeking a Electronics Repair Technician FIRST Shift to join our team. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN facility. Position Overview: The e-Reman repair Technician is responsible for the successful repair of non-conforming remanufactured electronics components. The repair technician is responsible for diagnosing, developing a repair action plan, and repairing any non-conforming products. The Technician will also schedule and implement preventive maintenance on e-Reman equipment. In this function you will: Analyze product that failed end of line testing through use of diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope) Develop and execute repairs required to achieve successful end of line testing Identify and replace with similar electronic components on circuit board Solder/de-solder SMT components Track and communicate the root cause of all failed material to manufacturing supervisor Interface with the cross functionally to address quality issues Maintain e-Reman equipment, including scheduling PM, managing spare parts, servicing equipment Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of electronic remanufacturing experience Associate Degree in electronics field Soldering certification IPC – A610 or relevant experience Position Criteria: Ability to follow established procedures Ability to problem solve, follow quality standards and understand schematics Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability Schedule and perform preventative maintenance Perform product rework Microsoft Office and Sharepoint experience Ability to work effectively within a team environment As a contractor with the Federal government, Eaton is subject to the Executive Order mandating COVID-19 vaccination.
