Eaton is currently seeking a Electronics Repair Technician FIRST Shift to join our team. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN facility. Position Overview: The e-Reman repair Technician is responsible for the successful repair of non-conforming remanufactured electronics components. The repair technician is responsible for diagnosing, developing a repair action plan, and repairing any non-conforming products. The Technician will also schedule and implement preventive maintenance on e-Reman equipment. In this function you will: Analyze product that failed end of line testing through use of diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope) Develop and execute repairs required to achieve successful end of line testing Identify and replace with similar electronic components on circuit board Solder/de-solder SMT components Track and communicate the root cause of all failed material to manufacturing supervisor Interface with the cross functionally to address quality issues Maintain e-Reman equipment, including scheduling PM, managing spare parts, servicing equipment Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in manufacturing environment within the electronics industry, including soldering and other repair techniques Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
