Job Description:
We are currently hiring one ESL teacher to work at a beautiful, private school in Nanjing, China. This is a family-run school, with brand new facilities for young learners. This school has many perks to offer their teachers including free housing, lunch and dinner provided, monthly bonuses, and a set curriculum. The management prides themselves on taking good care of their students and staff. They encourage feedback from teachers in regards to their lessons. The management is also very helpful with their teacher’s overall transition to China, sponsoring the necessary visas, opening bank accounts, obtaining a cell phone, and assisting with any translational needs. TeachBrave is currently interviewing teachers for an August start date.

Grade: Elementary teacher
Age range: 3-15
Schedule: 9 am – 5 pm, 5 days/week, with one-hour lunch break and various breaks in between classes. 25 teaching hours/week with 10 hours designated for planning and prepping lessons. A set curriculum and lesson plans are provided.
Class sizes: Classes sizes vary, but will never exceed 15 students/class.

Benefits Breakdown:
Salary: 7,500 RMB/month base + 500 RMB monthly utility allowance
Monthly Bonus Opportunities: Monthly attendance and hardworking bonus opportunities for teachers of 1,000 RMB
Yearly Bonus Opportunities: Teachers will receive two yearly bonuses of 1,000 RMB over Christmas break and Chinese New Year. Teachers will also be eligible for a yearly contract completion bonus and performance bonus of 7,200 RMB.
Visa Sponsored: School will sponsor the teacher’s Z visa, which is the work visa.
Contract duration: 1 year
Meals: Free lunch and dinner provided by school
Accommodation: Free housing in a 1 bedroom, 1bathroom, kitchen, and balcony apartment with helpful, friendly landlords (teacher is responsible for bills-electricity, wifi, water). Apartment is located 10 minutes from the school.
Utility Subsidy: 500 RMB/month bonus provided by the school to help with any additional bills (as stated in above).
Holidays: Paid Chinese holidays.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline)
One-year work experience, after college graduation (teaching experience preferred, but not required)
US, NZ, AUS, UK, CAN, South Africa passport holder
Native English Speaker
A genuine interest in Chinese culture and education.
Ability to commit to one-year contract.
