Introduction
The Marketing team is the key driver of italki’s business. Our campaigns span through both online (social media, content, digital ads, email, blogs, publications, affiliate networks, public relations, etc.) and offline mediums (magazines, print, events, etc.). Being an internet-based business focused on a global market, it is essential that we keep growing and improving our email and messaging campaigns by channeling fresh, innovative ideas and putting them into action.

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and action-driven individual who can bring forth this passion into the Marketing team. Leveraging knowledge of automation via email, SMS and/or push, you will work throughout the design and management of best-in-class marketing campaigns.The Email Marketing associate will report to the Customer Experience manager.

Responsibilities
•Execute the day-to-day email operations e.g. project scheduling, production, deployment, and post-analysis of all email communication
•Oversee email campaigns and ad-hoc projects across the entire customer lifecycle
•Actively manage and drive the email creative/development pipeline with support from designers and copywriters
•Drive seasonal conversion through on-brand campaigns
•Test, monitor and analyze campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for future experiments
•Work alongside the Product team to ensure email campaigns are running smoothly

Requirements
• 1-3 years of marketing-specific experience, focused on email marketing
• Hands-on experience with at least one email/automation platform
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functionally to develop and deliver email campaigns
• Proficient in web analytics tools (Google Analytics or Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.)
• Attention to detail
• HTML/CSS skills a plus!
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written. Chinese is a plus
