Responsibilities:

• Firmware programming using C and/or C++ languages for 8, 16, or 32 bit microcontrollers.
• Maintain version control using Git.
• Understand analogue and digital designs including low power microprocessors and microcontrollers.
• Freedom to develop new and innovative ideas to provide effective and reliable products for our customers.
• Liaising with the UK / US team to help shape product development roadmaps.
• Liaising with our manufacturing team to helping bring products through to successful completion.

Useful to Have:

• Some relevant experience developing IoT or WiFi based products.
• Strong de-bugging skills.
• Experience developing multi-threaded applications.
• Experience working with ARM based MCU’s and processors.
• Experience with development tools such as IAR and GCC.
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Analytical problem solver, detail-minded and able to work on own initiative.
• Reliable and responsible with a mature attitude to work and career.
• Good spoken and written English.
