Mercedes-Benz is bringing the automotive industry into the future! How? We are working on the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS), a software-defined architecture that enables state-of-the-art customer functions across domain controllers. One of these high-performance domain controllers implements advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and automated driving (AD) functions. Our department is responsible for integrating MBOS on this domain controller and, thus, lays the foundation for our exciting customer functions.
About the role:
As an Integration Engineer, working with (Adaptive) AUTOSAR, QNX and Linux systems you will be responsible for integrating the in-vehicle automated driving middleware and operating system into the embedded ECU, reviewing contributions from many development teams and partners. In an agile team, you will develop features as well as design, document, implement, integrate and test your code. Development will typically be focused on C/C++ on QNX and Linux and will make use of modern tools, technologies, engineering practices, and methodologies. While collaborating in a cross-functional fashion with automation engineers and software engineers, you help to improve the workflows.
