This position is ideally located in commutable distance with the (Cincinnati) Norwood, Ohio manufacturing facility including Cincinnati, Columbus, Lexington and Louisville. As a key member of the Employee & Leadership Communications team, you have an integral role in shaping the employee experience at Large Drives. A strategist and storyteller, you’ll be at the forefront of important change management initiatives making a lasting impact. You will educate, engage, and inspire our employees to drive our mission, values, and business priorities as a key influencer partnering directly with leadership. This position will have you thinking on your feet every day, pivoting, multi-tasking fluidly and solving challenges. Partnering with colleagues in-person at our historic factory as well as collaborating virtually across the US and around the world. Demonstrating a keen eye for audience engagement and a passion for inspiring change through a variety of communication channels. Aligning messages with company objectives through outstanding writing and storytelling with an understanding of employee information needs. Innovate and deploy content to reach our employees at the right time, in the right way through the right channel. Demonstrating strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, resourcefulness with the ability to analyze metrics and draw measurable conclusions. May communicate to employees in other LDA Americas regions including Canada, Mexico and South America. What will you get out of it? Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Communications or related fields 5 -10 years of proven experience in Employee Communications, or other related communications. Solution-finder/problem-solver, influencer Content development experience with emphasis on change management and employee experience. Demonstrated ability to strategize and share new and creative ideas Ability to translate complex information into consumable communications for various audiences – excellent writing and editing skills. Proven experience working with leadership; executive presence Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, environment and manage multiple deadlines and tasks Innate sense of urgency with proven ability to work quickly, manage and achieve multiple priorities and communicate updates effectively while under pressure Well organized and trustworthy with a high level of discretion You will have the opportunity to travel 10-15% Where permitted by applicable law, Siemens may require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 based on job requirements, and in accordance with an accommodation based on legally protected reasons Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Preferred experience in the manufacturing and industrial equipment businesses supporting factory union employees.
