Job Description

Are you passionate about employee relations? Do you enjoy conducting investigations? Are you interested in joining a new team? Intel Human Resources is establishing an Investigations Center of Excellence in GER to conduct employee relations investigations in the region.

The Employee Relations Investigators will partner closely with Business HR Partners and the Employment and Labor Legal team on employee relations matters and will investigate workplace complaints and guidelines violations. Reporting to the GER Lead for Employee and Labor Relations, ER Investigators will support the business group HR teams across GER.

Main responsibilities include:

-Conducts HR and Employee Relations investigations and recommends appropriate actions consistent with company's guidelines and policies.
-Conducts complainant, witness, and subject interviews; reviews applicable policies and practices; analyzes data and documents; determines witness credibility and develops findings and conclusions.
-Partners with HR Business partners to determine recommended remedial action based on investigation findings and closes with management.
-Maintains case records and documents investigation findings.
Provides timely communication to all relevant parties throughout investigation process.
-Remains respectful and empathetic in the face of difficult and uncomfortable situations surrounding an investigation.
-Develops trusted relationships to influence partners and business leaders, coaching and mentoring on the investigation process and best practices
-Independently manages assigned casework, bringing investigations to closure quickly and definitively.
-Analyzes aggregate investigations data to identify issue trends and opportunities for proactive issue mitigation; advises HR Business partners on same.
Consults and collaborates with HR Business Partners, ER, Legal, Internal Audit, and Security on complex investigations.
-Develops and provides training and guidance to BHR and managers regarding employee relations issues and investigations, localizing existing training materials where applicable.
-Provides guidance on, and support to, senior level separations.
-Document and refine investigations processes/practices across the region to create a playbook.
Plus providing support to other ELR strategic initiatives as appropriate. These could include (but not limited to) initiating and leading ER risk assessments, building acumen within the business on fostering positive employee relations, Long Range Project (LRP) support, and IDM 2.0 deliverables


Qualifications

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Highly articulate, well-developed, effective written and verbal skills
Summarize ideas and write concise summaries

Skills and experience required

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or Industrial Psychology
Previous experience as a HR Business Partner, Employee Relations Investigator or related HR position.
Significant experience handling investigations and employee relations matters.
Understanding of EMEA country labor laws and regulations
Proficient in Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Advanced English level (oral and written)
Additional language skills an advantage

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
