A co-op term with Intel of Canada's Intel Foundry Services group is a challenging but rewarding experience, allowing you to gain knowledge and experience in integrated circuit design and test, from chiplets to SoCs. Emulation Engineering Co-op

Join a collaborative and innovative team of engineers in creating simulation and emulation-based pre-silicon platforms that model from the IP level to SoC level. Gain real world exposure to complex development and debug challenges while working on a wide range of tasks including model design, implementation, and testing, as well as infrastructure development and customer support. Learn about and use both industry standard and emerging technology, tools, and processes.

Employees are encouraged to work remotely due to Covid-19, all new hire orientations will be done virtually. This is subject to change and employees deemed as essential workers may be required to work on-site.

Qualifications

We are looking for enthusiastic students with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving ability, a desire to learn and a good general knowledge of embedded systems, digital design, software/firmware development and testing methodology. Qualifications in the following areas are desired:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with C/C++
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of object-oriented design methodologies
• Scripting exposure in Python, TCL, or other language
• Embedded development experience (ARM, RISC-V, x86)

Job assignments will be based on available projects during the work term and on the skills and interests of the student.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
