PROJECT BACKGROUND

The Bank has various type of end-point equipment and related systems, including Windows laptops, iOS device, BYOD devices, printers, etc. There is need to build standard desktop image, and to automate the deployment of the image and updates. The management platform of mobile device is planned to be improved. The Bank will move to new office building early next year. All equipment needs to be move to the new location and the staff needs to resume to work immediate after the move.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Bank plans to establish, optimize and operationalize technology systems supporting end-user environment. The Consultant will be responsible for the plan, implementation, operation and maintenance of secure and highly available technical systems within Workplace & Automation.

The role of the Consultant is to define technical solutions, lead the selection of the products and implementation service providers, manage the implementation and operation of the systems, and manage the service quality of implementation providers, process the contract payments. The role involves the life cycle of system change including requirement elicitation, solution research and design, procurement, implementation and maintenance. The Consultant will mainly work in the following areas:

• Windows operating system upgrade and building standard image

• Automation utilizing SCCM/Intune

• Active Directory (AD)

• Encryption of End-point device

• Mobile device management system (MDM)

• Secured printing system

• Other related systems and services, i.e., WSUS

• Migration of systems and services of end-user environment to new office location

• Plan and implementation of end-user environment on BCP site

• Provide necessary support for security team and enforce security requirements in the end-user environment

• Be subject matter expert of end user environment for IT team

  
  

  The role will involve active dialogue with product vendors, implementation service providers, business users, procurement team as well as other teams/departments of the Bank where necessary.

DETAILED TASKS/ACTIVITIES

• Upgrade all equipment to Windows Enterprise

• Build standard image and continue upgrade the image based on business application and security requirements

• Establish the automated deployment of patches utilizing SCCM/Intune

• Optimize the design of Active Directory

• Plan and implement hard-disk encryption of PCs/laptops

• Optimize Mobile device management system (MDM)

• Build new secured printing system for new printers

• Manage the operation of the systems and services for entire end-user environment through the service provided by service providers

• Work with other IT team member, plan and ensure the smooth migration of systems and services of end-user environment to new office location

• Plan and implementation of end-user environment on BCP site

• Provide necessary support for security team and enforce security requirements in the end-user environment

• Be subject matter expert of end user environment and provide support for other IT team members

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience or equivalent.

• Demonstrated experience managing desktop technologies (imaging, configuration, infrastructure, scripting, etc.) experience. Enterprise desktop support or helpdesk experience would be an advantage.

• Hands-on experience with Windows 10 Enterprise, Active Directory and group policy, ADFS, SCCM, Intune, Airwatch MDM Solution, BitLocker or comparable software, printing system, etc.

• Experience working directly with managed antivirus and encryption platforms.

• Knowledgeable in managing iOS and MAC OS.

• Knowledgeable in ITIL.

• Fluency in oral and written English.

• Bachelor’s degree equivalent or higher in related fields from a reputable university.
