Objective of job
Test and evaluate development vehicles as critical Chinese customer and report findings to responsible engineers.
Develop driving training strategy and execute the training for testing engineers.
Set up 3rd party drivers training plans and ensure drivers are qualified in terms of Daimler technical related topics.
Evaluate testing service provider performance on testing execution and together with project engineer write monthly evaluation report.
Develop China specific testing contents together with testing engineers from customer’s perspective.
Task Description
1. Evaluating test vehicles as critical Chinese customer regarding NVH, Interior, Powertrain, Chassis and Suspension behavior.
2. Support test engineers do issue Analysis.
3. Monitor and evaluate service provider’s performance and give feedback to project team
4. Develop driving skills training strategy and execute the training for engineers
5. Set up third party driver training plan and make sure drivers are qualified in terms of Daimler technical related topics
6. Defind new testing routes in Beijing and other places according to requirments from test engineers.
7. Develop China specific testing from Chinese customer perspective
8. Support engineers to develop testing programs for new topics (e.g. ADAS, NEV…)
9. Support other departments for special tests.
10. Support test drive events such as VIP drive.
