JOB DESCRIPTION:
ROLE:
As a customer centric engineer within SEU IT he/she will investigate, reproduce, and diagnose complex issues affecting our customers. He/she should be passionate about solving tough technical problems and recommending improvements to products and processes.
As a java consultant, he/she is responsible for providing production and technical support, rotating on-call and business continuity support for GMD Clinical IT systems. The candidate must perform troubleshooting of issues that affect delivery of services across multi-tier platforms: a good understanding of Core Java, Spring, Restful APIs is an added advantage. Exposure to Agile and DevOps is must. He/she should be ready to learn new technologies in future to work on service enhancement requests based on rapidly changing business demands. Must have excellent communication skills, as we periodically interface with clients, vendor and business partners. Good communication and interpersonal skills
MANDATORY SKILLS:
- Hands-on experience in Core Java, Angular JS, Springboot, Maven, JIRA and Jenkins
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting production issues and defects
- Good understanding of Windows, Linux and Citrix environments
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of Agile and DevOps practices
- Must be flexible to work in 2 PM to 11 PM shift
DESIERED SKILLS:
- Certifications in AWS would be good
- Python
- Familiarity with common networking practices
- Understanding of multi-tier architecture and infrastructure configurations
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: Any Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology
PREFERABLE INDUSTRY: IT
OVERALL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 yrs.
