Position Summary
The Engineer is responsible for assisting Senior Manager/Manager/ Senior Engineer in managing the Engineering Team and contractors for the operation & maintenance of Central Chiller Plants, Boiler Plants and other plant rooms of Grand Waldo to support the operations in gaming, hotel, retails, food & beverage and administration in terms of business continuity, legitimacy, guest comfort and cost-effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure the effective implementation of the approved Operation and Maintenance Strategies for Central Chiller Plants, Boiler Plants, Electrical System, HVAC, FS, Kitchen Equipment, P&D, Pool / Water Feature Filtration Plants and associated equipment/ systems by MEP team and contractors.
• Supervise and verify the compliance of planned Preventive/ Corrective Maintenance programs to the required working standards through the use of Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Supervise Senior Technicians & Technicians in operation and maintenance.
• Prepare regular/ incidental engineering/ technical reports to Manager as necessary.
• Conducts general administration and supervision of engineering works including improvement, maintenance, repairing M&E plants, systems and equipment.
• Support Manager in development of contractual and technical proposals (e.g. specification, tender and contract) for effective execution and monitoring of engineering services/works related to operation and maintenance of MEP system and associated equipment/systems.

Requirements:

• Experienced in operation and maintenance of centrifugal liquid chillers/ heat pump chillers/ oil-fired boiler plant/ pumps.
• Background in Building Services/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Engineering.
• Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or above in relevant engineering disciplines plus at least 2 years relevant working experience, or Holder of Higher Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines plus 4 years or above relevant working experience, or Holder of Craft Certificate in relevant engineering disciplines plus 6 years or above relevant working experience.
• Mature, helpful and pleasant characters with leadership skill, communication technique, proactive & positive manner, team-player spirit, result-oriented mind-set, uncompromised integrity and “CAN DO” attitude.
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken.
