This exciting role offers opportunity to: The primary responsibility is to execute key DtV/VAVE Cost out for Electrical/Electronics products for short & long term growth portfolio of DtV/VAVE at DMP. The applicant must have Strong technical skills and thorough experience in NPI process and CostOut/Cost avoidance of Electrical & Electronics products with exposure to relevant product standards such as UL, IEC, etc. The applicant should have strong communication skills which involves close collaboration with various Eaton business group divisions and Global -Procurement Organization to generate cost out opportunities. The applicant will be responsible for working on various aspects of Direct Material Productivity with the focus on identify, analyse and deliver significant cost out opportunities as well as creating a robust pipeline and priorotise cost out projects. The applicant should be able to drive the outcomes for internal/external customers, excellent project management, communication & presentation skills and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Requirement: BE/Btech/ME Electronics with 4+ years of experience in CostOut/VAVE for Electronics products and component Primary responsibility of this role is Identification of cost savings projects through Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) for Electrical and Electronics components & products. The applicant must have hands on experience with design of products which includes concept generation, component and material selection, drawing creation, 3D modeling of parts/assemblies. Expertise in Product Teardown analysis, Design Benchmarking, Competitive Benchmarking, Function analysis, FAST Sound analytical skills in CostBOM and cost calculations of electronics component are required. Should have exposure and good understanding for VAVE & Should costing methodology Should have good knowledge on ERP system, SAP Experience in benchmarking of integrated circuits from each PCB and good understanding of circuit theory, including power electronics circuits & micro controllers. Thorough understanding of PCB layout and EMC/EMI design practices, of voltage clearance/creepage requirements, insulation and interconnection techniques.
