Purpose: -

This position involves undertaking the Installation, Service, Maintenance & Field upgrades of Thermo Fisher product portfolio of Life Sciences Solution division with an objective to keep all the instruments operational as per technical specification and to achieve customer satisfaction.

Share experience and best practice of product services and applications with colleagues.

Accurately document field service activities, including installation report and service work

report, and timely submit through the required system. Contribute to ​knowledge base to allow continuous improvement of work efficiency and effectiveness.

Role & Responsibilities

• Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of designated equipment. Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications/upgrades.
• Maintaining service tools and calibration kits.
• Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up
• Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues
• Identifying and participating in service sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals and qualification products.
• Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.

Candidate Requirement:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electronics / E&C /Instrumentation /Biomedical

Experience levels

• Up to 3 years of service support experience on laboratory equipment.

Skills

• Candidate Technically competent and should have skills set to handle products and customers
• Good Communication skills,
• should have hands-on experience in laboratory equipment
