Mechanical Engineer I is mainly involved as a member of the mechanical team in a project assignment, generating conceptual proposal, executing detail design utilizing 3-dimensional modeling and 2-dimensional detail drawings under the guidance of the senior team members. He/She shall be proficient in 3D CAD modeling preferably CREO or Solidworks. He/She will also be creating new part number, establishing modular design and generating the product’s Bill of Material. In addition to mechanical design, the engineer shall create test plans and generate test reports with supporting documents for review when necessary. The engineer shall work with project analyst to ensure the cost effectiveness of the design and the design for manufacturability, in order to control the project development cost and the product’s Cost of Goods (COGs). Below knowledge is preferable:

• Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Keen interest in mechanical design and with relevant internship as added advantage
