Job Summary

Engineer – IAM for a world-leading Pharmaceutical company which operates in over 100 countries and is headquartered in the United Kingdom. The candidate is expected to work as Junior Engineer for a large infrastructure support and maintenance function, spanning several continents.

The candidate should possess broad functional knowledge in his/her domain and technical knowledge in relevant operations. The candidate should have proven expertise in working within a team for any 2 of the infrastructure operational support and remediation activities.

The Engineer will be responsible for the troubleshooting, Service request/ incidents / primarily on (any IAM Technologies.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • An Engineer will be accountable for meeting the delivery targets set by Tower
  • The engineer will be working under 24x7 support model with rotating weekly off
  • Responsible for ensuring that delivery is within and better than prescribed SLA levels and help establish processes for continuous service improvement.
  • Operational experience any 2 technology, maintain & improve user experience in IAM technologies.
  • Provide accurate, timely diagnosis & rectification of user’s incidents
  • Resolve or escalate incidents/problems/SR per established procedures
  • Work proactively to ensure prompt resolution of support cases & the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction along with minimal production impact.
  • Work within an ITIL environment for Change and Incident management.
  • Working on incidents raised by alerts/service desk/end-user. Working on service fulfilment request through the service catalogue.
  • Experience working with enterprise monitoring tool and understanding dashboards.
  • Collaborating with fellow support colleagues and other internal organizations to provide superior customer service.
  • Creating and updating SOPs, KBs etc.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures and standards.

Essential Skills and experience

  • 5 years’ experience in Technology and Service management - internal team or external suppliers.
  • Operational experience in IAM domain with respect to managing Incidents, Problems, Changes and capacity management aspects
  • This role to support Identity and access management for the entire infrastructure resources like User ID creation, Group administration, Windows/Non- Windows Server access etc... This role includes PING ID paring support and files and security access management as well. Responsible for analyst services that include coordination, Service now Queue management and support access provisioning issues.
  • Be responsible for the development of CA Identity Manager and Governance Minder applications.
  • Prime responsibility to manage development work for CA hosted applications Identity Manager and Governance Minder.
  • Should have a mastery-level understanding of CA Identity applications and workflow understanding.
  • Work interactively with both technical and non-technical staff to assist out of box solutions that adhere to the underlying programming model and effectively deliver a solution to end-users.
  • Support development activities by helping in code build and deployment, tool configuration management and administration, application environment set up, change and release management.
  • Good understanding of logical troubleshooting skills and methods for optimizing workflows.
  • 5 years of experience of working within an IT development environment, preferably on CA Identity Manager application
  • Administration knowledge on Active Directory users and groups
  • Administration knowledge on files and security access management.
  • Experience with Service Now ITSM tool is preferred.
  • Knowledge of user Account management Linux/Unix operating system.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization is essential.
  • Knowledge of DNS Management
  • Knowledge of DHCP Management
  • Knowledge of single sign-on Concepts
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and liaise with different stakeholders for problem-solving and potential process improvements
  • Drive to lean new technology and build in-depth expertise
  • ITIL V3 Certification Preferred
