This includes to lead product testing & technology innovation (web / mobile applications – ios, android, ReactJS, Reactnative) by understanding product requirements, design & develop test architectures for testing feature enhancements and implementation of world-class high-performance enterprise grade software applications for electrical products using technologies like Selenium with Java/Python & Appium. To lead project, process, and overall technical execution on software testing activities as a part of product development team. Collaborate with global & local product engineering team and perform software testing activities during project execution. Performs technical reviews of test strategy and test framework development. Learn and share knowledge with colleagues on technical aspects demonstrating ‘Right to Left’ thinking (starting with consideration for end user). Job Responsibilities Lead testing in web and mobile applications (android, ios) using Selenium with Java/Python & Appium. Develop an understanding of both technology and product concepts and provide product test strategy. Designs, creates, executes and maintains tests Develops automated tests, monitors the results and reports software defects Take lead in Build management, change management, and configuration management tools like JIRA/bamboo/Bit Bucket/SVN etc. Ensure quality of delivery in accordance with the plan adhering to the standard practices used in agile/waterfall model. Perform code reviews with team members for modules/tasks and ensuring that best practices and efficient coding standards are adhered to. Develops test documentation required by software development process Maintains adequate interaction to ensure assigned tasks are prioritized appropriately Share knowledge within the team and demonstrate flexibility working in parallel on multiple products. Facilitates effective communication both within local team as well as with remote global stakeholders Required: Proven experience to develop test plans and test strategies 3+ yrs of experience in software QA experience Minimum 3 yrs of experience with performance/automation testing Hands on experience using Selenium with Java/Python & Appium 3+ yrs of working with web applications and mobile applications 2+ yrs of experience on SQL queries Proficient with Agile concepts Good to have in creating Test scenarios in Apache JMeter Knowledge of Test Automation tools like Pytest Understanding of Mobile emulators/simulators is an advantage Self-driven induvial with having startup kind of mindset; ability to deal with ambiguity.
