In this position, you will join the team that is in charge of the in-house software development and integration for High Voltage functions for all of Daimler Trucks and Buses e-mobility groups, worldwide.
- Your tasks:
- You will be the main interface to define and implement the testing of the developed software at various levels: MIL, SIL, HIL, Component bench and vehicle.
- You track and report on the issues found with the various testing methods.
- You gather, analyze and document high voltage feature requirements from various Daimler Trucks and Buses regions, and design the corresponding test cases.
- You will develop test cases and test plans to reach maximal efficiency, automation and test coverage.
- You gather and analyze the interfaces specific to your software modules, and you ensure that the proper tests are performed to confirm correct behavior across multiple modules and ECUs.
- You implement the high voltage feature test cases in accordance to the processes and tool chain used at Daimler Trucks and Buses.
- During the ramp-up phase of the organization, you will be actively involved in shaping the tasks and scope of the Team.
Your skills:
- You have a masters degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or a comparable degree.
- You have experience in working with automotive systems designs, preferably in the area of Electronic Control Units software development and testing.
- You have knowledge in documenting software requirements, using tools such as IBM Rational DOORS.
- You have knowledge of CAN buses and experience with CAN analyzing tools.
- You have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and are able to handle complex information.
- You have demonstrated experience in developing controls and complex models using Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow.
- You have a good understanding of the Autosar framework.
- You have knowledge about C-code generation using dSpace TargetLink.
- You thrive in a dynamic and volatile environment and bring with you a can-do attitude to make things happen.
- You have the communication skills and intercultural experience to work in a multi-national team.
- You speak English fluently.
- You are willing to travel internationally.
