The Quality and Reliability Lab Group is looking for an Engineer Technician. Assignments are semi-routine in nature with the work performed within generally defined parameters, and some degree of judgment is required in resolving nonstandard problems.
The Engineer Technician will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as performing nonstandard testing, designing and documenting new or improved methods and procedures, and providing training to new employees.
- Duties also include documenting the details of errors and providing clear communication to engineering and operations managers to help quickly resolve issues.

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must possess at least one of the following:
- High School degree with 4+ years of experience in stress lab and testing environment. OR
- Associates, Technical Certification or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study. OR
- 4+ years of Military training/experience in a technical field.
- 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with wire bonding process and tools.
- Understanding of statistical process control.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Basic understanding of electrical flow in a circuit.
- Python or coding experience.
- Understanding electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Mechanical repair or PM experience of lab or cleanroom equipment.
