Job Description

The Quality and Reliability Lab Group is looking for an Engineer Technician. Assignments are semi-routine in nature with the work performed within generally defined parameters, and some degree of judgment is required in resolving nonstandard problems.

As the Engineer Technician you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Support of engineering/operational activities and technical functions such as performing nonstandard testing, designing and documenting new or improved methods and procedures, and providing training to new employees.

  • Document the details of errors and providing clear communication to engineering and operations managers to help quickly resolve issues.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through schoolwork and/or classes and/or project work and/or internships and/or military training and/or work experience.

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following plus the years of experience determined for each of the areas specified below:

High School degree with 4+ years of experience in stress lab and testing environment.

OR

  • Associates, Technical Certification or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study.

  • 4+ years of military-relevant experience

  • 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Applications.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Statistical process control.

  • Troubleshooting skills.

  • Electrical flow in a circuit knowledge.

  • Electrical testing and troubleshooting.
