Engineer will work with the products with features spread across software and firmware for the Meters, Relays and Digital software team. Experience in test automation on Web and API is important for the success of the role. Exposure to industrial products software technology stack is an added advantage. This position requires lot of passion for learning and developing test automation infrastructure aroung cutting edge technology. Exposure to electrical/infotainment products will be a plus. • Experience with manual and automated testing • Should have experience with Selenium, Python and various frameworks for test automation • Should hands on experience in QA processes and concepts • Good hands on experience with test automation of Web applications and Rest API's • Experience on Embedded testing with electrical protocols like Modbus, BacnetI/P is an added advantage. • Linux background is desired. • Should be excellent in identifying & writing complex Test Cases • Should be have some exposure to nonfunctional testing like performance etc • Should be able to bring innovative ideas and drive innovation • Experience with Atlassian product stack i.e JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr,CI/CD would be an added advantage Qualifications Requirement: Bachelors in Computer science / Electronics/ E&TC/ Instrumentation engineering 3 - 5 Years of Industry experience Web application / Rest API testing Creating Test plan and Test cases Python Selenium scripting Embedded devices testing(Protocols/Devices) STLC knowledge Git/Bitbucket/Jira/Comfluence or equivalent tool experience Good communication skills in English (verbal and written) to communicate information effectively to customers, and technical staff What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
