Eaton Vehicle Group is looking for an Engineer - Valvetrain Testing Location: Turin HQ, Italy Job Description: The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Adhere to all facility safety guidelines and encourage communication and participation of personnel to further identify and reduce/eliminate potential hazards, Contribute to create a safe work area, Comply fully with ethical policies of the company, Work closely with peers and higher-level engineers and technical specialists to increase functional knowledge, Maintain timely and effective communication with supervisor, Product Engineers and peers through avenues such as e-mail, team meetings, and test reports, Actively pursue knowledge for continuous improvement of processes, learns the engineering methodologies within the division and becomes familiar with other departments and their relationship to engineering, Attend and participate in applicable meetings and/or trainings, Develop tests and validation methods Design tester hardware and/or software Troubleshoot complex problems Determine and develops process flows and efficiencies Supervise test preparation and execution collaborating with, and guiding if needed, Testing technicians Conduct equipment setup diagnostics and troubleshooting, Work according European certification standards (CE) Qualifications Qualifications: This position requires a candidate with the following: Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is a must, Professional experience in Internal Combustion Engine mechanics, High mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience, Well-developed communication skills, Ability to read, write and speak Italian fluently, Ability to read, write and speak English (B+ minimum), Proven ability to work in a dynamic, pressure environment setting, Good technical writing skills and good documentation practices, Proficient in computer software such as MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, Flexible in learning Able to read and design electrical schemes, Programming experience in LabVIEW is a plus.
