We are looking for an Engineering Bid Project Manager, to be hired with a permanent contract in the Customer Service department, for its premises in Milan or others Siemens’s location in Italy. She / He will be responsible for the analysis and further preparation of technical and commercial quotation for AC/DC motors and drives, Automation Systems (PLC and/or DCS) and related projects to Digitization, mainly for Italian customers and in some cases also for foreign countries. The new colleague will be involved on project allocated in Aerospace, Automotive, OEM, Food&Beverage, Petro-Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Glass & Solar, Water/Wastewater. Your Challenge As Engineering Bid Project Manager your mission will be to analyze the request for quotation received from the Sales. Find the best technical and commercial solution in service products’ portfolio of the relative business segment. Know which competitors are involved, for ensuring the achievement of the best technical solution proposal. During this process he / she has totalk to the technical and/or procurement departments of his division to find technical recourses or System Integrators skilled to prepare a competitive solution What will you manage in the short term? Sales support for public and private tenders with the primary purpose of coordination and production of technical and commercial documentation required, according to legal compliance policy rules. Within the Customer Services Unit, direct responsibility for preparation of customized solution offers in the field of retrofit of Machines Tool, Industrial and Process Control System, including supervision, monitoring, remote-control systems, industrial networks and orientation to new digitalization solutions. Quotation of dedicated services post go-live phase of the Systems, such as Predictive, Preventive or Corrective Maintenances and Maintenance contracts prepared on Customer requirements. Main industrial sectors treated: automatic lifting and mining industries, steel and metallurgical industries, cement industries, thermoelectric and hydroelectric plants, food and beverage industries, pharmaceutical and automatic warehouses. To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have: Previous experience in the field of electric motors and drives, automation systems and HMI General knowledge of drive techniques, electric motors, configuration of PLC and DCS systems and relatives’ industrial networks. Basic knowledge of electrotechnics electronics, Digitization and Industry 4.0. Nice to have: Knowledge of motion control (MC) and control devices. Bachelor's / Three Years Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation or Technical High School Diploma. Available to business trips for technical inspections on national level and sometimes also international. Ability to work in team, diplomacy, and quality in interpersonal relationships.
