Job Description
Eaton’s Bussmann division is currently seeking an ECN Administrator to join our team. This position is based at our Juarez, Mexico facility. The ECN Administrator is responsible for performing various Engineering Data Management (EDM) tasks including: Follow the EDM change management process (ECR/ECNs) for New Product Introduction (NPI), Product Line Support (PLS), Plant driven initiatives and Engineering data issue resolution In this role, you will: Implement and manage the activities required to complete multiple ECNs simultaneously Implement the creation of CAD models, exploded assemblies, manufacturing drawings and customer/marketing/sales drawings in SolidWorks Follow the SAP/PLM Process to verify CAD Drawings and 3D Models are retained per standard practices Follow the ECN execution process to ensure timely release of ECNs Follow the ECN process within the Product Data Hub (PDH) material lifecycle process Escalate with the PDH team to troubleshoot and resolve data errors Deliver ECNs & CAD package deliverables on time & with acceptable quality levels per Bussmann standards Create, modify & maintain Bill of materials (BOMs) in SAP-ERP system Comply with all Company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements Comply with all Company’s Quality System requirements Qualifications Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience working on Engineering Data Management processes Computer knowledge (3D CAD system, SAP-ERP, Enovia) Computer proficiency (Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong analytical skills and business acumen Demonstrate ownership of and ability to manage assignments with a broad scope and high level of complexly and able to prioritize and complete work in a timely manner Proven leadership skills – passion and capability to lead in an integrated environment across multiple sites and global locations Preferred Qualification Associate or Bachelor’s degree Position Success Criteria: Ability to plan and organize Ability to adjust plan due to unforeseen issues Strong leadership and teamwork skills Ability to take Initiative #LI-MG1 What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
