The Electronic Board Systems business unit of Siemens Digital Industries Software is looking for an experienced individual to lead our software engineering center in Katowice, Poland - someone who knows how to manage a site of 150 – 250 software engineering employees and is passionate about Agile software development. What do you need to succeed? Education in Software Engineering or related field Fluency in Polish and English Working knowledge of Agile/Lean Software Development Background (Scrum & Kanban) Experience in running a large development center or a software engineering organization with 100-250 employees Experience in leading, coaching and growing local management team Experience in managing R&D site budget Track record in establish a vision for the center that maintains a culture of unity and continuous professional growth Knowledge of employer branding in Poland and fostering existing relationships with local universities Experience working with local recruitment agencies to hire contractors What's it like working with us?
