POSITION SUMMARY

The Technician - P&D will add value to the Departmental performance by carrying out Plumbing and Drainage (P&D) work in operation, repair and maintenance within the Galaxy Macau Resort & Casino.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

1. Understand the use of materials, tools and equipment for P&D work implementation.
2. Understand and follow all relevant occupational health and safety procedures.
3. Repair and maintain plumbing and drainage system and components (such as piping, valves, equipment, controls, sump pits, grease traps, manholes, gully traps, fittings, and sanitary wares).
4. Understand the local building codes, installation requirements and relevant legislation.
5. Perform planned maintenance on plumbing and drainage system.
6. Notify Supervisor-P&D on materials and parts required.
7. Work closely with all other Departments to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
8. Always maintain clean and presentable appearance at work.
9. Feedback to Supervisor-P&D work progress.
10. Shift duties as necessary and assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Successful completion of a relevant and accredited apprenticeship in P&D trade.
2. 1 year P&D trade experience, preferable in a 5-star hotel environment.
3. EMSD Electrical Worker Certificate is preferred.
4. With strong team spirit and cooperative attitude.
5. High efficiency and good technical background.
6. Some knowledge in English, both written and spoken.
7. Knowledge of Mandarin preferred but not essential.
8. PC working knowledge is preferred.
