Calix Systems Test Team is seeking for an intern based in Nanjing, China. This individual will work as part of our systems test team that supports feature and system level test on telecommunication equipment which includes gateway, data, telephone, and video services. Creating and executing test script based on automation framework is essential in daily work.

Working closely with senior engineer to grow automation test coverage, design and perform automation regression tests and CI test in Robot Framework. The individual shall keep track of discovered technical issues and solve the issues with limited mentoring.

• Computer Science or SW engineering degree with related technical skills;
• MSCS strongly preferred.
• Strong desire and skill to test SW and a strong personal desire to new technologies.
• Good understanding on SW functional and non-functional verification;
• Strong knowledge on Linux.
• Knowing Python, CI and Robot Framework.
• Prefer experience working with open source software
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
• Self-motivated, Persistence, and a team player with innovative contribution
• Experience in telecommunication protocols, Linux scripting and embedded system design is a plus.
