In Redford, Michigan, the focus is on Powertrain and eDrive technology as well as in Long Beach, where the teams test durability of the latest driver assistance and telematics systems. The Digital Hub in Seattle focuses on developing a cloud architecture and building out the cloud platform for the next generation of connected car services. The Testing and Regulatory Affairs team in Ann Arbor and the Advanced Vehicle Design in Carlsbad complete the competence center.
Responsibilities:
- Active role in battery materials sample fabrication for testing
- Support materials characterization and analysis including EIS, SEM and XRD methods
- Support process organization and data management
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent STEM field of study
- Depth in electrochemistry and Li-ion batteries
- The intern must have some experience working in a laboratory, while skills relating to battery cell fabrication are desired
- Experience using analytical instruments is required
- Good communication and social skills are needed for the work in a diverse environment.
