MBRDNA is headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, with key areas of Autonomous Driving, Advanced Interaction Design, Digital User Experience, Machine Learning, Customer Research, and Open Innovation. In Redford, Michigan, the focus is on Powertrain and eDrive technology as well as in Long Beach, where the teams test durability of the latest driver assistant and telematic systems. The Digital Hub in Seattle focusses on developing a cloud architecture and building out the cloud platform for the next generation of connected car services. The Testing and Regulatory Affairs Division in Ann Arbor and the Advanced Vehicle Design in Carlsbad complete the competence center.
 
Start Date: December 2019 / January 2020, duration 6+ months, 40 hours per week, must commit
During the internship you will Provide support to the Powertrain Software Coordination
team.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Support the change management effort including the utilization of NCM, ACM and Dialog
- Monitor and document software/data changes
- Work with the responsible engineer to coordinate Software/Data integration during the development phase
- Help during the software release process, e.g. preparing certification approval documentation
- Work with the Software Coordination team to develop
processes/procedures describing subject work streams
- Work with the team to develop sub-processes for key Software Coordination process
- Analyze data

Education & Experience:
- Student participating in Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field (at least completed 2nd year)

- Taken automotive engineering subjects

- Experience in Powertrain

- Basic knowledge of project management skills

- German and English Language Skills are highly desirable
