About the position:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Engineering & Maintenance Director will be responsible for implementing Accor engineering and work standards and overseeing the engineering department operations. Your responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following missions:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, including repairs, modifications, and installation work.
• Lead the maintenance function by providing reactive and proactive multi-skilled service across the hotel's operational equipment and infrastructure.
• Responsible for the creation of a planned schedule and overseeing compliance and timely completion of work carried out.
• Increase operational efficiency of facilities, improve project delivery, reduce machine room downtime.
• Manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Lead the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures, whilst leading the department and mentoring direct reports.
• Implement and manage the continuous improvement of maintenance services, highlighting the recommendation of changes where necessary.

About you:

• Minimum qualification required: maintenance area / intermediate or higher degree in engineering.
• Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of air conditioning, construction, electricity, plumbing, and mechanics in general.

• Experience of at least 5 years in a similar position.
• Availability to work in rotating schedules.
